This year, as part of the WXPN All About The Music Festival, Kids Corner will once again offer over 4 acres of fun on both Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 5pm, as we 'plant ourselves' inside the beautiful Camden Children's Garden!

The 4-acre interactive Garden includes three indoor exhibits, the Philadelphia Eagles Four Seasons Butterfly House, Ben Franklin's Secret Garden and the Tropical Exhibit, Plaza de Aibonito. The Garden also has amusement rides, such as the brand new Butterfly Spring Ride, the classic Commerce Carousel, and peaceful Arrow River Train Ride surrounded by the Railroad Garden. Other exhibits include a Dinosaur Garden, Maze, Picnic Garden, Tree House and five different Storybook Gardens, each designed to explore and enjoy!

Last year the Camden Children's Garden was an oasis for festival attendees, providing a bit of nature and a perfect break from the weekend's festivities! And, smack-dab in the middle of all that beautiful nature is our own Jane Kirkland of TakeAWalk.com who will be hosting interactive nature shows throughout the weekend! Her nature discoveries have become the basis for her series of Take A Walk Books and her life-changing experiences in the field help shape this entertaining nature show! http://takeawalk.com

Comcast is a proud supporter of the WXPN All About The Music Festival.

Also stop by the Comcast tent to check out the latest from the new PBS Kids Sprout as well as try your hand at some arts and crafts! Plus you can get up close with a collection of reptiles direct from the Discovery Channel!

WXPN will offer free face painting each day from Noon-3pm, and America's first zoo - The Philadelphia Zoo - will present its entertaining and informative Zoo On Wheels program! The Zoo's traveling naturalists bring animals and bio-facts for an educational and exciting encounter with wildlife designed to inspire responsible action on behalf of wildlife conservation!

Of course - it wouldn't be the Kids Corner area without Kids Corner host Kathy O'Connell - and you have the chance to meet her at Kathy's Photo Lounge, where professional photographers will be on hand to take a free picture of you and Kathy! Click the PhotoLounge logo for details!

The centerpiece of the Garden will be the non-stop family music on the Kids Corner Stage, from Noon to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday, hosted by Kathy O'Connell!

For complete details, including ticket information and special benefits for XPN Members, click the All About The Music Festival image at the top of this page and plan to join us for a great weekend on the riverfront!

THE CAT'S PAJAMAS / Noon (cancelled)
The Cat's Pajamas are wild, energetic crowd pleasers who make a lot of cool music for kids. From their opening number of syncopated claps and echoes to their unexpected requests to put your finger in your bellybutton or pull on your mucklucks and slurp like a jungle, audiences remain completely captivated. Kids can't get enough of their unique combination of music, dance, puppetry and madcap theatricality!

SKIP DENENBERG / 1pm
With styles ranging from country to pop and rock to children's music, Skip's music can be heard in all forms. Phillies fans know Skip Denenberg from his moving tribute to Veterans Stadium, "Concrete and Steel". Skip added to his Phillies resume in 2004 with I Think We're Gonna Like It Here, a musical introduction to the Phillies' new home, Citizens Bank Park. He then presented the Phillie Phanatic with his very own song, "A Little Bit Phanatic". So, come and be sure to wear your Phillies colors!

JOHN HADFIELD / 2pm
John Hadfield, most famous for highly-requested song "Monkeys In The House" has been performing for families for years! John also spends his free time competing in dog agility with his (Akita) dog Kenny, is a black belt in aikido, and ski races with the Wilmington Ski Club. Besides Crash the Clown and The Crash Brothers, John performs The Science Show and his newest program - Monkeys In The House: John Hadfield in Concert.

mr. RAY / 3pm
mr. Ray has been a musician since the early 80s, as a member of the notable Asbury Park NJ, Stone Pony house-band, Cats On A Smooth Surface. Bruce Springsteen played with Ray and the band so much, he often raved to the press worldwide, that they were his favorites to jam with when he was off tour... throughout all of this, mr. RAY was entering into a new musical galaxy where his critics were a lot tougher...even if they were under the age of 8. His music is fun and speaks to kids in a rockin' interactive language - a must see!

STEVE PULLARA & THE COOL BEANS BAND / 4pm
There is something about a Steve Pullara show that connects with kids in a special way. Maybe it's the infectious joy in his performance. Maybe it's the way he brings together music and art and kids. Maybe it's the good feeling he gives their parents. Steve Pullara & The Cool Beans Band are always a friendly, fun experience for the entire family!

BILLY JONAS / 1pm
A Billy Jonas performance is an explosion of energy. In singalongs, bangalongs, whisperalongs, as well as improvised songs, his primary instrument is the audience. Concerts begin with a simple "tuning" of the audience; from there a whimsical trajectory carries listeners through stories of life, love, and triumph over "Murphy's Law." Jonas' original pieces are played on fanciful "industrial re-percussion" instruments made from found objects ... a fun interactive performance for the entire family!

BUBBOON & BUBBLES / 2pm
Bubboon & Bubbles are the team of Bill and Jennifer Winegardner, who write, record, and perform their own music, including the Kids Corner classic tune "The Cheese Song"! Bill first created his character, Bubboon, the Royal Fool, at a Renaissance festival. Their voices are comedic, exaggerated, and over the top, which serves the content of the songs perfectly. All of their songs are truly foolish, completely goofy and ridiculous, and kids (and adults) will find them vastly entertaining!

ERNIE & NEAL / 3pm
Not your average family entertainment, Ernie & Neal's enthusiasm and professionalism know no bounds. Typical of a show is the entire audience, young and old alike, dancing in - and out - of their seats. Ernie & Neal encourage audience participation from beginning to end. The kids enjoy making music, dancing, singing and acting out the various songs as Ernie & Neal explore the many different genres of music, including rock, reggae, ska, jazz, folk, and more.

JOHN FLYNN / 4pm
From "The Duck Song" and "Roadkill Cafe" to "My Brother Ricky's For Sale" and "A Manatee Sneezed On Me", John Flynn has been part of the Kids Corner family since his very first CD came out back in 1993. For the past 13 years, kids and adults have grown to love a John Flynn concert experience - and, although John is touring this summer to promote his new CD, Two Wolves, he wouldn't miss a chance to be part of this historic weekend! Come out and sing along!
