Noon-5pm both days
Camden Children's Garden, Camden NJ

This year, as part of the WXPN All About The Music Festival, Kids Corner will have over 4 acres of fun on both Saturday and Sunday, from Noon to 5pm, as we 'plant ourselves' inside the beautiful Camden Children's Garden!

Camden Children's Garden

The 4-acre interactive Garden includes two indoor exhibits, the Philadelphia Eagles Four Seasons Butterfly House and the Tropical Exhibit, Plaza de Aibonito. The Garden has amusement rides, such as the Commerce Carousel, and the Arrow River Train Ride surrounded by the Railroad Garden. Other exhibits include a Dinosaur Garden, Maze, Picnic Garden, Tree House and five different Storybook Gardens, each designed to explore and enjoy!

Phila Zoo

There will be free face painting and some cool make and take crafts for kids to enjoy and America's first zoo - The Philadelphia Zoo - will present its entertaining and informative Zoo On Wheels program!

Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the Camden Children's Garden.

The centerpiece of the Garden will be the Kids Corner Stage, with non-stop music from Noon to 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday, hosted by Kathy O'Connell!

Bubboon and Bubbles

BUBBOON & BUBBLES / Noon
Bubboon & Bubbles are the team of Bill and Jennifer Winegardner, who write, record, and perform their own music, including the Kids Corner classic tune "The Cheese Song"! Bill first created his character, Bubboon, the Royal Fool, at a Renaissance festival. Their voices are comedic, exaggerated, and over the top, which serves the content of the songs perfectly. All of their songs are truly foolish, completely goofy and ridiculous, and kids (and adults) will find them vastly entertaining!

Cat's Pajamas

THE CAT'S PAJAMAS / 12:50pm
The Cat's Pajamas are wild, energetic crowd pleasers who make a lot of cool music for kids. From their opening number of syncopated claps and echoes to their unexpected requests to put your finger in your bellybutton or pull on your mucklucks and slurp like a jungle, audiences remain completely captivated. Kids can't get enough of their unique combination of music, dance, puppetry and madcap theatricality!

Steve Pullara and co.

STEVE PULLARA & THE COOL BEANS BAND / 1:40pm -and- 4:10pm
There is something about a Steve Pullara show that connects with kids in a special way. Maybe it's the infectious joy in his performance. Maybe it's the way he brings together music and art and kids. Maybe it's the good feeling he gives their parents. Steve Pullara & The Cool Beans Band are always a friendly, fun experience for the entire family!

Milkshake

MILKSHAKE / 2:30pm
Milkshake makes music both kids and their caregivers will enjoy again and again. Their live performances encourage a party, while kids learn through music and rhyme. The audience is encouraged to interact with Lisa and Mikel, and with each other, through music and dance. Milkshake's original songs are based in the pop-rock genre and influenced by both the years spent performing tuneful, melodic music in their rock band alter ego Love Riot, and the classic sounds of great groups like the Beatles.

Jane Kirkland

JANE KIRKLAND / 3:20pm
"I Saw a Bald Eagle Soaring Over My Grocery Store"
One day Jane Kirkland discovered a Bald Eagle soaring over her grocery store parking lot. She assumed this was a rare and important sighting. But she soon learned that the sighting was not at all uncommon - a fact that made her realize she'd been living her life oblivious to nature, her surroundings, and the environment. Wondering what else she might spot if she took the time to look, she set out to explore nature in her neighborhood, local park, and her own backyard. Her nature discoveries became the basis for Take A Walk Books and her life-changing experiences in the field are chronicled in this enlightening, inspiring, and entertaining program.

Skip Denenberg

SKIP DENENBERG / Noon
With styles ranging from country to pop and rock to children's music, Skip's music can be heard in all forms. Phillies fans know Skip Denenberg from his moving tribute to Veterans Stadium, "Concrete and Steel". The song was featured during the Final Innings Ceremony that closed the Vet in September 2003. Skip added to his Phillies resume in 2004 with "I Think We're Gonna Like It Here", a musical introduction to the Phillies' new home, Citizens Bank Park. He then presented the Phillie Phanatic with his very own song, "A Little Bit Phanatic". So, come and start the day and be sure to wear your Phillies colors!

Ernie and Neal

ERNIE & NEAL / 12:30pm and 3pm
Not your average family entertainment, Ernie & Neal's enthusiasm and professionalism know no bounds. Typical of a show is the entire audience, young and old alike, dancing in - and out - of their seats. Ernie & Neal encourage audience participation from beginning to end. The kids enjoy making music, dancing, singing and acting out the various songs as Ernie & Neal explore the many different genres of music, including rock, reggae, ska, jazz, folk, bluegrass and more.

John Flynn

JOHN FLYNN / 1:20pm and 4pm
From "The Duck Song" and "Roadkill Cafe" to "My Brother Ricky's For Sale" and "A Manatee Sneezed On Me", John Flynn has been part of the Kids Corner family since his very first CD came out back in 1993. For the past 12 years, kids and adults have grown to love a John Flynn concert experience - and, although John has taken this summer off to work on a new CD, he wouldn't miss a chance to be part of this historic weekend! Come out and sing along!
